Our school library is a store-house of books. It has books of different types. There are books on all subjects in our school library. Students can get any book issued in their names. Also, there are many journals and magazines in our school library. There are two big rooms. In one room there are books of science, history, literature, etc. in many languages. In this room, the books are arranged in almirahs and shelves. The other room of the library is the Reading Room. It is a quiet place. It remains open all day. Many students sit there and study. Our school librarian comes in the morning. He keeps the books in perfect order. He is very cooperative. A librarian is the in charge of the school library. There is a class library system in the school. The library is always open on all the days of the week. The students do not get the books directly from the librarian. Once a month the class teachers go to library. He selects four to five sets of books for the use of the class. The sets are well graded. The teachers find no difficulty in the selection of the books. Each set has thirty books. The teacher issues the books once a week to the students in the class library period. He is expected to read these sets. The students read the books during the week. They return them the following week. Nobody is allowed to keep a book for more than two weeks. The library has a reading room. It is full of tables and chairs. The newspapers, magazines and periodicals are placed on the big tables daily for the use of students. The walls of the room are well decorated with good mottos and simple paintings. The mottos tell use the use of the library books. Nearly the thousand books are always in the library.
